Tito Biajaca was a cagüeiro (shapeshifter) with mystic powers. It was said that he could change his shape at will, from man to river fish. The story of Tito Biajaca’s powers began when he was a child, who almost drowned in the river, but the river chose to save his life by sending the animals to push him to the surface. He was then given the important job of finding people who had been lost or were assumed drowned in the river.
